A fabulous and free performance by some of Metro’s most talented musicians is set to take place Thursday at the Moncton Wesleyan Celebration Centre.

It’s set to be the biggest Sistema NB concert yet, featuring the 160 talented kids from the Moncton program, and a few of their instructors. The free show begins at 7 p.m.

The New Brunswick Youth Orchestra concert Sunday afternoon is the last performance of its season, but the first in Saint John since taking first place in the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Competition in Vienna last summer.

The orchestra’s ambition will be as evident at Imperial Theatre as it was at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in July.

What types of music will you be able to hear when the East Coast Music Association comes to Metro Moncton in April? Well, pretty much all of them.

“With over 150 artists now scheduled to perform during East Coast Music Week, and more to be announced, Moncton will be resounding with music from all genres,” says Su Hutchinson, the executive director of the East Coast Music Association.
