Sistema NB members and staff join NBYO board members in thanking John and Lucinda Flemer and the Tecolote Foundation for organizing and hosting an amazing concert at Kingsbrae Gardens in St. Andrews on Saturday, June 16, 2012. The Sistema NB Moncton Children's Orchestra peformed as brilliantly as the sun shone during their first-ever concert tour. Over 1,600 guests came to view the gardens that day--the largest number of patrons in any single day since the KIngsbrae Gardens were opened. Many of the guests were delighted to see and hear more than ninety 6 to 10 year old Sistema NB members perform as a full symphonic orchestra, under the direction of NBYO and Sistema NB Music Director Antonio Delgado.
Our kids were great; we can be very proud of their dedication and achievement; and we are encouraged by the impact of Sistema NB in their lives and those of their families.
We are extremely grateful to the Flemers, all their devoted Kingsbrae Gardens staff, and to the Tecolote Foundation for their generous financial support and encouragement.
